实验器材:
过山车、钢球。
实验过程:
1、将仪器放在桌面上,并将小球放在高端的槽内。
2、用一个手指托住钢球的底部,并将钢球顶出槽内,注意观察。
探究问题:
1、钢球从高端下落后,速度为什么越来越快?在绕着轨道运动时,为什么不会掉下来?
2、如果钢球从低端开始释放,钢球会掉下来吗?
3、如果钢球释放点的高度与圆形轨道的点在同一水平线时,钢球会掉下来吗?
4、当钢球刚好落入低端的槽内时,大约损失了多少能量?
实验结论与体会:
(以下由学生总结并交流,也可由教师引导得出。)
注意事项:
实验完毕,应将小球放回高端。
13.The model roller coaster
Experimental purpose:
1.Observe the course of moving for the roller coaster
2.Knowing the centrifugal phenomena
3.Researching the transition between the different types of the energy
Experimental equipment:
The model roller coaster, steel ball
Experimental process:
1.Put the instrument on the table, and put the ball in the top trough.
2.Support on the bottom of the steel ball with a finger, and let the ball leave the trough. Watch carefully.
Researching issues:
1.Why the speed is faster and faster when the ball falls from the top? Why the ball does not fall down when move around the orbit?
2.Whether does the ball fall down when let go the ball from the low place?
3.Whether does the ball fall down when they are the same for the height of the releasing point and the highest point of the circular orbit?
4.How many calories are lost for the energy when the ball drop into the low trough?
Experimental conclusions and the experience:
The followings can be concluded and discussed by the students, or guided to get by the teachers
Caution:
Put the ball back on the top trough after the experiment.
